A wine gift subscription is a prepaid gift of Canadian wine, delivered to the recipient's door each month. Choose red, white, mixed, or rosé and sparkling, for 3, 6 or 12 months. Each box comes from a different Canadian winery, mostly in Niagara or the Okanagan. Taxes and shipping are included. Nothing renews.

How a wine gift subscription works

You choose the wine style, the bottles per box and the length. Then your recipient gets a box every month for the whole term.

Each box is an introduction to a Canadian winery, often a smaller one that a liquor-store shelf doesn't carry. Inside, a tasting card gives notes, ratings and food pairing ideas for the bottles.

Which subscription to pick

Start with what they reach for.

  • They only drink red: the red subscription, in 2, 3 or 6 bottles.
  • They like a crisp glass on the patio: white, in 2 or 3 bottles.
  • You have no idea: mixed, the easy pick when you're guessing, with up to 12 bottles per box.
  • They'd rather open something sparkling: rosé and sparkling, with 2 bottles per box.

How long to gift: 3, 6 or 12 months

Three months suits a birthday or a thank-you. Your recipient gets three boxes from three wineries, and the term ends after the third box.

Start in October and six months runs to the end of March. Twelve months is a full year with a new winery every month, a good match for a milestone birthday or a retirement.

A subscription suits someone who would enjoy opening a box every month. If monthly is more commitment than you want to take on, a one-time wine gift box or wine gift basket is a single delivery.

FAQs

Does a wine gift subscription renew?

No. You pay once for 3, 6 or 12 months, and the gift ends when the term does.

Can I send a wine gift subscription to Ontario or another province?

Yes. We deliver across Canada, wherever local liquor rules allow, and that includes Ontario addresses. Enter the delivery address at checkout. Our Ontario page covers how it works there.

Will my recipient know the gift is coming?

If you add their email address in the gift message field, we notify them, and your message goes in the email, the box, or both. Leave the email off if it's a surprise.

Can I choose when the first box arrives?

Yes. Contact us and we'll send the first box in the month you choose, which helps when the gift is for a date a few months away.

Can I pick the wines?

You pick the style and the bottles per box. Our team of wine experts picks the wines, and the winery changes every month.

Who has to receive the box?

Someone of legal drinking age in the province it ships to has to receive the box, and carriers may ask for ID. Your recipient can contact us to change the delivery address.
